The Village Bookstore, for example, is a fantastic way to get away from the hustle and bustle of the streets of Vila Madalena, relax with a coffee and read the afternoon away. There is also an endearing square called Feira Omaguás, every Sunday, a group of artisans convene to exhibit and sell original works to the public. Not only will you find handcrafted goods and materials in the square but it is also not uncommon to come across a musical show, a poetry reading, or even a small theatre production.
