The incredibly popular Salvador Dali exhibition currently showing in Pinheiros São Paulo is a definite must-see. The exhibition offers a variety of works by Dali from earlier sketches, to his Alice in Wonderland illustration, to some of his more famous colourful works: Memória de la Mujer Niña, Figuras Tumbadas en la Arena, El Sentimiento de Velocidad (to name a few). Dali’s Face of Mae West is also on display and is presented so that you can enter the portrait itself and even sit down on her lips (sofa).
Entrance is free but you will need to collect a senha (number) to enter. During the week this a quick process but on the weekends come early! Senhas are distirbuted at 10am, 2pm and 5pm. We went at 2.30pm on a Tuesday and there was no cue.
Exhibition on: Until 11th January 2015
Location: Tomie Ohtake building, Av Faria Lima 201.
